Export restrictions

There are special export quotes for this type of medicinal products to be exported from China. For example, sugar or rice fall under tariff rate quota (TRQ) administration, and only a limited amount of it can be exported. This is due to the fact that the production of sugar and rice meets the needs of just 70% of the Chinese population, and the country has to import the rest from Vietnam and Thailand.
